Settled. Connected. Ready to learn.
Nervous system regulation programmes for schools and specialist provisions in Kent
When young people feel regulated and safe, something else becomes possible — curiosity, creativity, connection, and the kind of joy that makes learning meaningful.
I work with schools and specialist settings to bring practical, grounded tools that change how pupils feel, connect and learn. All programmes are trauma-informed and evidence-based, designed to sit within your existing structure — supporting SEMH outcomes and Ofsted's expectations around personal development, behaviour and attitudes.
This is right for you if…
You’re a specialist provision, PRU, or alternative provision with complex young people who need more than standard approaches
You're a mainstream primary or secondary whose staff need practical co-regulation tools for the classroom and beyond
You're a SENCO, DSL, or inclusion lead who is the only person holding the trauma-informed lens in your setting
You’re a charity or third-sector organisation working with young people in high-stress circumstances
You’re a residential children’s home or care setting where daily stress and conflict is the norm
You want something evidence-based, Ofsted-aligned — supporting judgements around personal development, behaviour and attitudes — and deliverable within your existing structure
Move to Learn —
A structured movement and nervous system regulation programme for primary-aged children and young people, delivered across schools, specialist provisions and alternative settings in Kent and beyond.
Move to Learn gives children practical, body-based tools for managing stress, big feelings, and transitions — through movement, breath, and simple regulation practices that they can carry with them throughout the day.
It's not an add-on or an enrichment activity. It's a co-regulation programme that changes how children feel in their bodies which changes how they learn, relate, and behave. Grounded in the neuroscience of stress, it's designed to be practical, accessible, and immediately usable in real school environments.
Available as:
Workshops — for children, young people or staff teams

Regulate, Create & Relate
For young people who find words difficult, who have disengaged from traditional support, or who a trauma-informed approach that works with their nervous system rather than against it.
Particularly effective in SEMH settings, PRUs and specialist provisions, sessions follow three stages — and the sequence matters:
Regulate
Gentle movement and breathwork to bring the nervous system into a steadier state.
A dysregulated system cannot learn, create or connect — so this comes first.
Create
Once settled, creativity becomes accessible. Drawing, writing, movement or making — whatever fits the young people on the day. No words required.
Relate
From a more regulated and expressed place, young people begin to make sense of their experience. This is where connection and insight develop.
Delivered in schools, specialist provisions and alternative settings, across Kent.
Each session is responsive to the young people in the room.
Outcomes for young people
Practical regulation tools they can use independently
A creative practice that feels personal and accessible
Greater capacity to relate to themselves and others
