Body-based, neurodivergence-aware support for anxiety, overwhelm, emotional regulation and times when talking alone doesn’t feel enough.

Different people need different ways of being supported
Not everyone processes emotions, sensory input, information or communciation in the same way. For some people, conventional talking-based support or standard professional processes can feel inaccessible, overwhelming or simply not quite fit.
My work is individualised, trauma-informed and neurodivergence-aware. Whether I am working therapeutically or within family mediation, I consider what helps the person in front of me understand, participate and feel able to engage.
You don't need a diagnosis, or to be neurodivergent to work with me.

Family Mediation
Impartial mediation adapted around individual communication, processing and accessibility needs.
Schools & Professionals
Therapeutic provision, referrals and collaborative support for mainstream, specialist and alternative settings.
Support does not have to wait for a diagnosis
A diagnosis can bring understanding and open the door to some services, but you don't need a label before beginning to understand what might help.
I work with children, young people and adults who are diagnosed, waiting for assessment, beginning to explore whether they may be neurodivergent, or simply know that they need a different kind of support.
We start with the individual: what they notice, what feels difficult, what helps, and what they would like to understand or change.
Meet Tara
I'm a Level 6 Yoga Therapist, with additional training in Child & Adolescent Yoga Therapy, as well as a Family Mediator and Divorce & Separation Coach. I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent children, young people and adults.
My work is body-based, trauma-informed and adapted around the individual. Across both therapeutic support and family mediation, the same principle runs through my practice: people experience, communicate and process things differently, and support should recognise those differences rather than expecting everyone to fit the same approach.
Alongside my private practice, I'm co-founder of SHIFTwithin CIC, delivering trauma-informed wellbeing programmes for children, teen girls and women across Kent, and training for the professionals who support them.
