This work comes from lived experience, not just training.

I know what it feels like to need this kind of support — and that’s why I do what I do.

How I got here

I began my career in corporate sales and client relationship management.

My work was built around understanding people — how they think, how they respond under pressure, and how to build trust in high-stakes situations. I worked closely with individuals and teams navigating stress, conflict and complex dynamics.

Over time, I became increasingly interested in what was happening beneath the surface.

Why people reacted the way they did under pressure.
Why communication broke down, even when intentions were good.
And why insight alone often wasn’t enough to create change.

That led me into more in-depth training in body-based and nervous system approaches.

I trained as a yoga teacher and then as a Yoga Therapist (800+ hours, including specialist training in child and adolescent mental health), alongside training in divorce coaching and family mediation — bringing together communication, stress, and how the body responds under pressure.

Alongside my professional training, this work is also shaped by lived experience.

Significant life events led me to change direction — retraining and rebuilding my work in my late 30s.That experience deepened my understanding of how stress, uncertainty and pressure are held in the body — and what it takes to move through them.

How I work today

In 2025 I co-founded SHIFTwithin CIC to bring this work into schools and communities around relationship breakdown, separation and divorce— supporting children, families and professionals with practical, body-based tools that can be used in some of the most challenging situations.

Today I work as a trauma-informed practitioner based in Whitstable, Kent — with individuals, families, young people and organisations, often at points of high stress, conflict or transition. Sessions are available in person across Kent and online.

I bring the same framework to every context: understand what the nervous system is doing, build practical tools to respond, and create conditions where real change becomes possible.
